On this project we were the general contractor. We coordinated and hired all of the subcontractors. Our scope of work on this project was the removal of existing deteriorated copper roofing and substrates. We installed new plywood, underlayment, and copper roofing. We also designed and manufactured the shadow line feature on the roof to match the original design. The roof size on this project is 18,000 sqft. We completed this project on time and under budget.
Received the 2004 Guilfoy Memorial Architectural Sheet Metal Award from California-SMACNA. The Guilfoy award is presented annually to the California SMACNA firm whose work best epitomizes high-quality craftsmanship in architectural sheet metal.
This project required the removal and replacement of all historical dormer bodies, crows nest, and ornaments. All work occurred above the 21st floor, off of a specially designed scaffold. The project took approximately 1000 shop hours and 9000 field hours. We used 10,000 lbs. of copper, 18,000 lbs. of aluminum castings, 1,500 lbs. of stainless steel, and 5,200 lbs. of lead.
This project required the removal and replacement of historical cornices, steeples, towers, dormers, gutters, downspouts, flashing, and skylights.
This Project consisted of the removal and replacement of metal flashing at 49 different roof elevations. We also removed and replaced several historical cornices on this project.
This Project consisted of the new construction of three 18 story buildings & one parking garage with a pool on the roof. We manufactured and installed the following items for this project: deck flashing, window flashing, coping, ledger flashing, roof penetration flashing, gutters, downspouts, louvers, equipment screens, and expansion joints.
We provided and installed over 30,000 sqft of metal siding & related flashings on this project.
